GenDetective^® was designed to run on a Windows^® computer. However, commercial programs exist that enable Mac OS X computers to run Windows programs. GenDetective will run on a Mac using any one of these Mac OS X programs:

In addition to supporting the above Mac genealogy programs, GenDetective supports the majority of Windows^® genealogy software products.

If using a Windows^® hosted environment on the Mac is not an option for you, a native solution for Mac OS X and Linux will be available late next year. Check back with this page periodically for any updates.
